So glad Blackberry Man came through in the end! Here's to this one going on for the rest of that train's run. (= OG version of going viral?)

This story of stories made me so happy because this is what happens in a public space when one takes a break from the screen. I'll ascribe the creativity and spontaneity to the Bay Area specifically, but I'm not sure how self-centered that is. But it's well-told, and that ALWAYS makes me happy. Thanks, d@n.

It's more than abundantly clear that many of the people responsible for the Social Security cap wanted it to be underfunded to the point that it would eventually be eliminated. Claiming it's tied to the deficit is their way of trying to distract from their culpability.

I would call it pathetic, but, unfortunately, it seems to be working. Even if most of the people who really depend on Social Security understood that it could be easily fixed and that it has nothing to do with the deficit they're largely poor and aren't going to be funding any campaigns.

Just hit the spot yesterday. Wondering what will today... Oh, and silly me, I meant Richard D. James as in Aphex Twin, I guess specifically the Windowlicker video. That is the only music video I liked enough to purchase. (In VHS form at Tower on Market!) Just amazing and worth the extra-long run time.
